About Us

Since 2005 Irwin Art Frames has been producing meticulously crafted archival custom picture frames with the simple purpose to display and preserve artwork.  By providing individualized services we build relationships with our customers allowing us to better understand their fine art framing needs and giving us the ability to design frames and display solutions that are detailed to their vision.  All consultations will be with Sean Irwin; insuring accurate services. Our products are consistent in quality and we understand the importance of meeting deadlines. All of our products are manufactured in our 1500sqft shop located in the lower north east region of Philadelphia. Our shop is composed of a fully equipped woodshop as well as our art handling/fitting room. 

Irwin Art Frames is owned and operated by Sean Irwin and Laura Ledbetter.  Sean and Laura are graduates of Syracuse University with Masters in Fine Arts concentrated in Sculpture.  Learning about making frames, stretchers, artist panels and pedestals began for Sean during his graduate studies. Our background in art, as well as being practicing artists, has provided us with a unique appreciation and respect for handling art, a discerning eye for proportion and color in addition to technical competences.
